Department of mathematics has three well qualified faculty members. Mathematics department has a dedicated computer- lab for mathematics students equipped with MATLAB- Software. The department is also running its own departmental library with books sponsored by National Board of Higher Mathematics (NBHM). The department successfully keeps up with the high-end requirements of the industry and focuses on the professional development of the students.

To achieve this goal department is continuously organizing workshops on software of mathematics to provide skill-based knowledge. Every year five to eight students of Mathematics department participate in summer school programme and MTTS( Mathematics Training and Talent Search Programme) funded by National Board of Higher Mathematics.

Mathematics department is continuously working to achieve high standards of excellence by generating and propagating knowledge in mathematics.
